“Skaters Dancing with the Elements”

Lorna Brown wanted to create this Series for Ice Theatre of New York — working with skaters who displayed extraordinary artistic qualities. During COVID-19 lockdown when they were not able to skate on their element, the ice, and Lorna asked them to make a video and connect with the outside elements to keep their spirits alive. The first skater is Sarah Baetge whom Lorna has worked with since she was 7. Lorna feels she has helped to develop her style and movement quality and maybe more importantly, has inspired her to find her true self as an ice artist.
