About the 2024 Honorees

This award is given to those who are accomplished within our ice dance world and have stayed connected to the field beyond their own performances. It honors artists and athletes who have given back to our icy” world and continue to be a role model for others to follow.

Meryl Davis and Charlie White are American ice dancers. The pair are the 2014 Olympic Champions, 2010 Olympic silver medalists, two-time (2011, 2013) World Champions, five-time Grand Prix Final Champions (2009–2013), three-time Four Continents Champions (2009, 2011, 2013) and six-time U.S. National Champions (2009–2014). Davis and White are the first American ice dancers to win the Ice Dance World Championships and Olympics. Meryl Davis is currently attending graduate school in Detroit and Charlie White coaches ice dance with his wife Tanith Belbin White.

The ice dancing team of Tanith Belbin & Ben Agosto were the first-ever U.S. ice dancing team to win a silver medal at the Winter Olympic Games, a feat which they accomplished at the 2006 Olympics in Torino, Italy. They are also World silver medalists and five-time U.S. National Champions. Both Tanith and Ben have taken up coaching and choreography — Ben in Arizona, and Tanith in Detroit — hoping to help train the next generation of Olympic champions.
