WinterICE is the first in a series by the Ice Theatre of New York exploring figure skating within concert halls, theatres and other spaces, away from the skating rink while incorporating elements of improvisation, gesture and dance theatre. Each performance will infuse skating with new ideas and allow for unusual and unexpected elements to infuse an otherwise often insular discipline.
