Join us this summer for Ice Theatre of New York Summer Youth Concert Series at the World Ice Arena in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. The new World Ice Arena is hosting a series of eight, weekly performances starting Saturday, July 11. These 30-minute concerts will start at 7 p.m.

The final concert for the Ice Theatre of New York summer series at WIA will include top national and international competitors along with some fine professional pieces from the Ice Theatre of New York repertory.   Ice Theatre of New York has entertained the summer audiences at the World Ice Arena with a combination of up and coming young ice artists  as well as the work of professional ice dancers who, over time, have reinterpreted the traditional elements of ice  skating to broaden our aesthetic appreciation or understanding.   As Adrian Benepe noted recently "Thanks (Ice Theatre) for all you do to bring art to the ice in New York City"

Talent will include:

"Dare Greatly" a commission by the Will Sears Memorial Fund - performed by professionals from the company
"Ronnie Resentment" performed by theatre artist, dancer, designer and company member, Greg Wittrock.   Greg's masked characters portray aspects of the human condition.   Ronnie Resentment is the angry teenager who transforms anger into art.
