2002 Benefit Gala

Ice Theatre of New York's Annual Gala Benefit was a pure celebration on and off the ice as the Company honored JOAN SCRIBNER for her inspirational contribution to the artistry of figure skating. Honorary Chair DICK BUTTON, Co-Chairs NANCY STREETER & PALMER BAKER and the guests watched a Home Season performance by the Ice Theatre ensemble, guest artist LUCINDA RUH and surprise performer RICHARD DWYER at Sky Rink, Chelsea Piers, and then headed to the fabulous LIGHTHOUSE event center for cocktails, dinner and festivities. At the Benefit, Ice Theatre also gave special awards to figure skaters ROSALYNN SUMNERS, World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist, and TOLLER CRANSTON, 6-time Canadian Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist.
