New York City Winter Festival

New York City celebrated the season with its first Winter Festival, which took place from January 11 to February 2, 2003. Principal skater Katherine Healy presented a special performance to help kick off the Festival at the press conference with Mayor Bloomberg. Warming up the city this winter were performances by Ice Theatre ensemble members and apprentices at Wollman Rink and Lasker Rink. Lasker Rink guests also got free skating instructions and an acrobatic show on ice.
