Proscenium Stage Performance

Combining the intimacy of the theater, the athletic artistry of ice skating and the drama of stage lighting, Ice Theatre presented a spectacular performance on the proscenium stage of New York state's second largest theater. The Ensemble performed works by JEAN-PIERRE BONNEFOUX, HEATHER HARRINGTON, DAVID LIU, ELISA MONTE, JOANNA MENDL SHAW and DOUG WEBSTER. Skaters glided, jumped and spinned, showering an occasional spray of snow from under dancing blades on a theater stage. Joining the Company were two-time Olympic Bronze medalist Lu Chen, Georgian Champion Vakhtang Murvanidze, Olympian David Liu and skater/prima ballerina Katherine Healy.
