2004 Series at The Rink at Rockefeller Plaza

Ice Theatre of New York presented the last performance of its 2004 Concert Series at The Rink at Rockefeller Plaza on Wednesday, April 7, at 12:30 PM. The Company Ensemble performed repertory works by Choreographer David Liu and JoAnna Mendl Shaw. Skater/prima ballerina Katherine Healy performed a solo entitled IN THE MOOD, choreographed by herself. Olympian David Liu also performed a solo entitled EL DUENDE, created by Venezuelan choreographer Carlos Orta and inspired by a collection of poems by Federico Garcia Lorca. The 2004 Concert Series at The Rink at Rockefeller Plaza was made possible, in part, by public funds from the City Department of Cultural Affairs, by in-kind contribution from Restaurant Associates, and by donation from our generous contributors.
